KNOX, IN -- Francis L. "Bing" Anderson, 72, died Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Our Lady of Peace, South Bend, Indiana. He was born March 31, 1937, in Knox, to the late Clarence and Amanda (Sheldon) Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Eagle Creek Church and the Starke County Historical Society. He had been an Assistant Funeral Director for Braman Funeral Homes.
He is survived by two brothers: Dewey of Knox and Bill of Port St. Lucie, Florida and two stepbrothers: Donald and Bud Myers of Bourbonnais, Illinois and Russell Myers of Knox. He was preceded in death by one brother, Clarence Bud Anderson.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 22, at 11 a.m. at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Ed Hasnerl officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox.
Arrangements were made by Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox.
