He was born Aug. 18, 1975, son of Van Born of Ocean City, MD, and Sharon Rehe Born of Rt. 1, Independence.
He attended Preston High School.
At the time of his death, he was survived by two brothers, Eric Born, of Columbus, OH, and Derek Born, at home; two sisters, Kendra Born and Tiffany Born, both at home; his grandparents, Harold and Donna Rehe, of Reedsville, and Darl and Marie Phillips, of Morgantown; and his great-grandmother, Irene Holmes, of Independence.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerald Born, in 1995.
