He was born in the town ot Sheboygan Falls on September 21, 1906, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs, Gustave Prange. He spent his youth in that township and attended school there.
On June 23, 1934, he was married to the former Miss Lydia Lilge of the town of Schleswig. The couple lived in Schleswig until nine years ago when the family moved to Louis Corners.
He was a machinist by trade. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church, Louis Corners, and a member of the men's club of the church. He also served as clerk of Joint School district No. 7.
Survivors Include his wife; three daughters, Doris, Janet Donna Mae, all at home; and two brothers, Norman of Sheboygan and Milfred of Rockville.
A son, his parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held al 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran church in Kiel The Rev. William Hartwlg, pastor of Zion Lutheran church, Louis Corners, will officiate and burial will be made in the Zion cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Meiselwitz Funeral home from 1 p. m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Wednesday, and at the church until time of services.
