Barbara Jane (Bokoskie) Engel died Aug. 11, 2009 of a stroke. She was 77.
Mrs. Engel was born Nov. 1, 1931 in Oregon City, the first triplet born to Felix and Verna Bokoskie.
She was raised in West Linn and graduated from West Linn High School.
She married Harold Engel Dec. 31, 1950. Mr. Engel died in June 1976.
Mrs. Engel enjoyed sewing, crocheting and dancing with her husband at the VFW in Oregon City. She was a member of the club's Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include son Harold (Hal) Engel Jr., daughter Darlene R. Roland, both of Vancouver, Wash., seven grandchildren, sister Beatrice Bokoskie, and brother William Bokoskie.
Funeral services were held Aug. 14. Interment was at Willamette National Cemetery.
