Donna Mae Wulczak joined her heavenly Father at the age of 80 on July 19, 2009. She peacefully passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio with family and friends at her side.

She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 9, 1928, to Orville R. and Theresa M. (Luff) Greene.

Donna was raised in South Toledo with her brother, Robert and was a 1947 graduate of Libbey High School. She attended the Toledo University and graduated in nursing from the Woman's & Children's Hospital.

She worked at Sears & Roebuck and for 20 years at Ohio Citizens Trust.

Donna married William J. Wulczak in 1949 and gave birth to their only son, Gregory W. in 1963.

She was raised as a Lutheran but converted to Catholicism because she loved the Ukrainian traditions and services at St. Michael's Ukrainian Church.

She was a caring person to animals, children, and the less fortunate, serving holiday meals at the Cherry Street Mission. She was a generous contributor to numerous organizations.

Her favorite pastimes were trips with in-laws and friends, shopping for trinkets, and playing with her cats, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Theresa; brother, Robert; husband, William and son, Gregory.

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Natalie Bohaczenko and Mary Jane Kushner; nieces, Sandra (Tom) Managhan and Terri (Jeff) Oshnock; nephews, Paul N. (Marilyn) Skotynsky, Michael Scott, Matthew (Lea) Skotynsky and Peter (Betty) Kushner. She will always remember her lifelong friends, Rev. George Mullonkal, Sue Stolar, Sue and Joe Thompson, Marilyn and Mary Ellen Molitoris, Angie Bobak, Roberta and Steve Korpita, Cora Korpita, Catherine Nazark, and many more too numerous to mention.

Our memories of Donna will last forever.

Donna's family wishes to thank the caregivers at Hospice of Northwest Ohio (Marilyn, Bonnie, JoEllen and Julie), Hospice volunteer Amber, and Comfort Keepers (Carol, Cletissia, Libby and Sarah) for their superb care and support.

A private visitation will occur for family and friends between 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 133 Walnut Street, Rossford, Ohio 43460. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. with burial at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted in Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg, Ohio.
