"Mary Ann Snader was a first cousin to William Henry Rinehart, the artist and sculptor. Her cousin Henry thought she must accompany him to Paris to study art. Her parents refused. She did considerable fine painting in her early life. Greatly respected by the community and the church, her funeral was the largest ever held in that neighborhood."
