Mr. Tyler died at Columbus Regional MEdical Center Funeral service at Blanton Baptist Church in Valley, Ala with Bro. Fran Irmiter officiating.Burial in Long Cane Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of WWII. He led singing at Long Cane Methodist Church for 67 years. He worked at Neal Sheffer Drug Store but retired from J.C. Penney's. He is survived by his wife Elaine Kirpatrick Tyler; a son Douglas Tyler. He was preceded in death by his first wife Ruby Elkins Tyler and a son Joel Tyler.
