Phyllis Jane Myers, the daughter of Charley and Christina (Ronnfeldt Myers, was born on October 9, 1924 in Shelby County, Iowa. Phyllis attended a Shelby country grade school, Tennant High School, and graduated from Avoca High School.
Phyllis was united in marriage to James Otto Schueman on June 28, 1945 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. To this union were born three children; James Dale, Linda Rose and Jeffery Otto. Phyllis was a homemaker and a loving mother and wife. She was always willing to help family or others when in need. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her many beautiful flowers, also cooking and taking care of her lovely home. Phyllis was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca, Iowa.
Phyllis passed away on January 2, 2007 at her home in Avoca, she had reached the age of eighty two years, two months and twenty four days. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers; Rober, Victor and Dick Myers.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of sixty one years, James, her children; James (Janee) Schueman, Linda (Juan) Cruz and Jeffery (Dianne) Schueman. Her five precious grandchildren, four precious great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services conducted at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial at Graceland Cemetery in Avoca, Iowa.
