Bertye Cravey
ASHBURN — Mrs. Bertye Wynn Cravey, 90, of Route 3 Box 1780, Ashburn, died at her home Thurs¬day, June 27, 1991, after a long illness.
Born Aug. 19, 1901, in Turner County, she was homemaker. She was the widow of Joe Mark Cravey, deceased Sept. 8, 1946, and the daughter of James William Wynn and Nancy Jane Alexander. She was a member of the Inaha Baptist Church in Sycamore, where she was the oldest church member.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Eddie Allan and Carl Sikes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Inaha Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
She is survived by a son, Edgar Cravey of.Ashburn; five daughters, :Mrs. Evelyn Tyson, Mrs. Juanita Carr, both of Tifton, Mrs. Frances Mangham of Ashburn, Mrs. Gene¬va Williams of Thomaston, Mrs. Essie Arnold of Sycamore; seven sisters, Mrs. Lena Mae Tyson, Mrs. Jessie Ellis, Mrs. Clyde Carver, Mrs. Eva Wood, Mrs. Opal Hender¬son, Mrs. Shirley Carr, all of Tifton, Mrs. Lillie Greenwall of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 19 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being hand¬led by Perry Funeral Chapel.
