MRS. H.C. HARTJE, SR.

Mrs. Perlin Thayer Hartje, 95, of Durango, Colo., formerly of Conway,
widow of Henry C. Hartje, Sr., died Friday (June 06, 1986).

Born December 01, 1890, in Conway, a daughter of John Henry and Capitola
Barley Thayer, she was a housewife and a member of First Presbyterian Church
at Durango.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Robert Hartje of Springfield, Ohio, and
Henry C. Hartje, Jr., of Lakeland, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Foreman of
Durango; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Oglesby of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren and
five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow at Oak Grove Cemetery
with the Rev. Larry Hutton officiating. Burial will be by McNutt Funeral
Home.

The family will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Satterfield on
Highway 60 in western Conway.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
