ELVA A. POLSER

Elva A. Polser, lifelong resident of Lucas county, Iowa, passed away at the Yocom hospital in Chariton, Iowa, June 22, 1959, at the age of 59 years, one month and six days.

She was born on May 15, 1890, the second daughter of Preston and Margaret Mundell. On August 28, 1907, she was united in marriage to Norman H. Polser. They established their home in Lucas. To this union three children were born, Vera, Herman and Ardis.

She continued to live in Lucas after the death of her husband on November 26, 1949. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, mother and a sister, Alma E. Baker.

She is survived by her three children, Vera L. Gladson, of Omaha, Nebr.; Herman A. Polser, of Bloomington, Ill.; and Ardis V. Erts, of Atlantic, Iowa; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and relatives.

Services, conducted by the Rev. Archie Beals, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at the Beardsley Funeral Home. Burial was made in the Goshen cemetery.
