Mrs. J. Leo Schofield died aged 26 years. Short illness fatal in hospital.
The funeral of Mrs. J. Leo Schofield, formerly Anna Lamont Bell who died in the Women's General Hospital on Friday in her 27th year, was held at D. A. Collins Chapel, 2035 Wellington street, this afternoon. Interment was in the Mount Royal Cemetery.
Mrs. Schofield who lived at 711 Woodland Avenue, Verdun, had been ill only a few days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Neill Bell, of Montreal. In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two small children, George and Gregory; by three sisters, Mrs. J. Kingston, of New York; Mrs. G. Reid and Miss Christina Bell of Montreal, and by four brothers, James of Toronto, and John, Joseph and Gordon Bell of Montreal.
