1st husband Avril Adkins used several aliases .. I suspect Harry/Henry Adkins was one and not an additional marriage for her .. Arvil also used his mother's maiden name "Frye".

In 1920, Nila was wife of Avril Adkins, living at Claypool, Summers County, WV, (about a mile from Meadow Bridge, Fayette Co.) with daughter Erie 7 .. John M 1year 2 mo ... Arvil's father Britton Adkins 62.

In 1930, Nila Mans was housekeeper for Garfield Bennett at Meadow Bridge, Fayette Co., WV, and states widowed but Arvil lived until 1957. With her were 3 of her 4 children: John M. Adkins 11 ... Herman C. 10 ... Avril Jr. 7.

In 1940 at Meadow Bridge, Garfield Bennett, 58, states divorced ... Nila Man, 51, states divorced, maid ... Herman Adkins 19 and Arvil 17 are each listed as "maid's son".
Nila and Garfield married about 1942 and Garfield died in 1949 (suicide in Huntington WV).

She married in Logan Co., WV, in 1952 to Wayne Fannin but a 1956 newsclip gives her name as Mrs. Nila Bennett.

I've been unable to find a marriage record to Webb but her obit uses his surname.
