"May 2 – Sgt. Thomas W. Crawford, 26, of 702 Turner-Ohltown Rd. has been reported killed in action in the South Pacific. He leaves his wife, the former Olga Dripps of N. Osborne Ave., and His mother, Mrs. E. Herman Crawford. Memorial services were held last Sunday in the West Austintown church."
"Memorial services were held at the Methodist church here Sunday for Thomas Crawford, son of Mrs. Eva Crawford, who was killed in action on Luzon, March 23."
