Darlene M. Mullins, 71, of Brownsville, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was born June 14, 1941, in Manitowoc, the daughter of Thomas and Ruth Mullins Welch. She was a 1959 graduate of Reedsville High School. On October 10, 1964, she married Philip W. Mullins at St. Patrick's Church in Maple Grove, WI. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2006. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her four daughters. Darlene was very proud of her Irish heritage which was evident in her twinkling eyes, friendly smile, and quick wit. Darlene was employed for over 30 years as a receptionist for Dr. John Pesch D.D.S. of Brownsville.

Surviving are four daughters: Margaret "Peg" (Lee) Zarnott of Mayville, Kate (Tony) Cole of Fond du Lac, Liz (fiance, Scott Westphal) Meunier of Brownsville, and Nellie (Pat) Broeske of Brownsville, ten grandchildren, Kathleen and Mary Claire Zarnott, Erin, Kelli, and Jack Cole, Lauren and Molly Meunier, and Bennett, Alivia, and Jake Broeske. She is further survived by a dear sister and brother-in-law, Georgeen and Gene Tienor of Reedsville, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Mullins of Manitowoc, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and family members: Leroy and Grace Welch, Paul Mullins, Barney and Valerie Mullins, Jim and Carmen Mullins, Ruth and Bob Willems, Jan and Erv Theisen, Frank Trinka and Joe Shimek.

Visitation for Darlene M. Mullins will be on Thursday, July 12, 2012, from 4 to 8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 13, 2012, at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, 699 Milwaukee Street, Lomira. The Rev. Dennis Budka will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A memorial has been established in Darlene's name.
