Will Stover was born Tuesday, May 16, 1882 in Oakville, Lawrence County, Alabama, a son to Riley G. Stover and Mary Ada Filyaw Stover.

Mr. Stover was the brother of Ione Stover, Mary Hattie McDaniel and Bluitt Severe Stover.

In the World War I Draft Registration on Thursday, September 12, 1918, he was described as medium height, medium build, gray eyes, and brown hair. His occupation was a carpenter for Westinghouse, Church, Kerr & Company in Muscle Shoals, Colbert County, Alabama. The permanent address for his wife, Sarah Manerva "Nervie" Puckett Stover and himself was Route 4, Albany, Morgan County, Alabama.

The children of Will and Nervie Stover are Mamie Norwood, Coleman Wade Stover, Wilvin Norman Stover, Eva Lee Stroup, Hattie Mae Stover, Bessie Stover and Dave Cleo Stover.

Mr. Stover died Thursday, September 2, 1920 in Morgan County, Alabama, at the age of 38.

Funeral services at Johnson Chapel Cemetery were held for him on Friday, September 3, 1920.
