She married Jethro Benton on 16 Aug 1914 at Gates County, he died there on 18 Oct 1931. In 1940 she is living with her daughter Amie Wilkins Marshall, wife of John Luther Marshall, at Enfield, Halifax, NC. Virginia death certificate gives place of death as Williamsburg, James City, VA. She was survived by her daughter Amie, son Lewis Wright Benton and George Wilkins.
