The Ironton native was born March 27, 1925, the daughter of the late Clarence Baker and Ruth Murphy Baker. She was the wife of the late J.R. Begonia.
She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 370 and Shawnee United Methodist Church. She was a registered nurse at Columbia Care Center. Prior to that, she was employed at Clark Equipment Co.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Ellen) Morris of Fremont; two sons, Robert Begonia of Lima and Mark Begonia of Cleveland; six grandchildren; three brothers, Phillip Baker of Ironton, Gilbert Baker of Ashland, Kentucky and Robert Baker of DePaul, Indiana; and one sister, Mrs. Victor (Joyce) Belskie of Worthington.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
