On November 14, 1882, she was united in marriage to Adie B. Hicks and had resided in Duncansville and vicinity all her life.
She was a member of the First Lutheran church of Hollidaysburg, and was held in high respect and esteem in the community in which she lived.
Besides her husband, a granddaughter, Margaret Hicks Haagen, an only grandchild, at whose birth, March 31, 1910, the young mother, wife of George Haagen, of Tyrone, departed this life, leaving the child in the care of its grandmother survives.
Services were conducted at the residence of the deceased Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery.
