Ardis A. Seidelman, 87, of Aurora passed away on August 29, 2009 at Jennings Terrace surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1922 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Roy and Ruth Cleaveland.
She was a longtime member of New England Congregational Church. Ardis was involved in various groups and organizations, among them were; Woman's Fellowship Past President, White Cross Auxiliary Rush Copley Hospital, Child Welfare Society, Jennings Terrace Auxiliary, Woman of the Moose #83, McDonald's Collectors Club, Illinois PTA Life Member, and a proud 62 year volunteer at Rush Copley Hospital.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold Seidelman; her children, Ruthanne (Kendall) Freund of Gaylord, MI, Ronald (Betty) Seidelman of Parker, CO, and Richard (Laurel) Seidelman of Western Springs, IL; grandchildren, Jeanette, Suzanne, Lisa, Tamara, Eric, Jennifer and Cory; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 South Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL and again on Wednesday September 2, 2009 from 10:00 until the time of service at 11:00 am at the Memorial Home with the Rev. Gary McCann officiating.
Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jennings Terrace Auxiliary 275 S. LaSalle Street Aurora, IL 60505. Dieterle Memorial Home 630-897-1196
