SPRINGVILLE - Violet Moulton Diamond, 95, of Springville, passed away February 6, 2001.
She was born June 22, 1905 in Chapin, Idaho to George Franklin and Ada Lenora Cluff Moulton.
She married Lewis B. Diamond on Nov. 18, 1925 in Salt Lake City.
He preceded her in death in January of 1978.
Violet was active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions.
She was a member of the DUP and was a volunteer quilter at the State Hospital for 20 years.
Violet enjoyed traveling with her friends and loved a good game of cards.
The thing she loved most was being with her family.
She is survived by her children: Jay (Shirley) Diamond, Springville; Dale (Toni) Diamond, Ridgecrest, CA; Joan (Robert) Barlow, Bountiful, UT; Bliss (Lori, deceased) Diamond, Orange, CA; Verl (Joan) Diamond, Rigby, ID; Lynn (Linda) Diamond, Fountain Valley, CA.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2001 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville.
Friends may call from 9:30 until time of service.
Burial will be in the Springville City Cemetery.
