Mrs. Pugh was born Carol R. Gleason on April 17, 1927, in Burr Oak. She was a certified surgical scrub technician for Republic County Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Eldon, of Belleville; a son, Robert ?Bob? of Belleville; three daughters, Carolyn Frankamp and Stephanie Swiercinsky, both of Belleville, and Lynda LaClef of El Dorado; three sisters, Louise Stedman of Mankato, Dee Thode of Winchester, Colo., and Fern Bliss of Anderson, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at North Branch Friends Church, North Branch. Inurnment will be in North Branch Cemetery.

Friends may register from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, 1104 20th, Belleville 66935. The body was cremated.
