"Joseph Abdo, aged 25 years, a native of Lebannon, Syria, in Turkey, who has been a resident of Biloxi for the past eight years, died at his home in this city this morning at 3:30 o'clock. Deceased was a well known young man of Biloxi who had a number of friends here. He is survived by a father and other relatives. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence of deceased at 511 Lameuse street. Services were conducted in the Church of the Nativity and interment was made in the Biloxi cemetery."
