Tepetate Farmer Dies in Home
Clemile Veronie, 67, a retired farmer died in his home at Tepetate Thursday at 2:50 a.m. after an illness of about two years.
Funeral services were held in the Basile Catholic Church (St. Augustine Catholic Church) Wednesday at 8 a.m. Interment was in the Reed Cemetery in Tepetate. Ardoin Funeral Home of Eunice was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Veronie was survived by his widow, Elizabeth Manuel Veronie; three sons, Duclide Veronie of Basile, Joseph Autry Veronie of Tepetate & Paul Veronie, Sr. of Jennings; a daughter, Mrs. Cezar (Azia Marie Veronie) Credeur of Tepetate; a sister, Mrs. Arvillian (Laura Veronie LeJeune) Cormier of Jennings and eight grandchildren.
