Clifford D. Haas, 66, Houston, Texas, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away Aug. 25, 2009, of natural causes in North Cypress Medical Center, Houston.
He was the husband of Patricia G. (Harding) Haas.

Born in Sinking Spring on March 2, 1943, he was a son of the late Arlin E. and Catherine M. (Ludwig) Haas.

He was a member of the class of 1961 at Wilson High School.

He served in the Army from 1960 to 1963.

He was employed at Continental Can Co., Reading, in 1979, with Continental Fiber Drum and later Sunoco in Houston for a total of 35 years.

He was a member of the Sinking Spring VFW.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters: Kim L., wife of Greg Reber, Sinking Spring; Connie S., wife of Darryl Radt, Orchard Park, N.Y.; Carole L., wife of Michael Wentzel, Shillington; Dynette M. Trim, Houston; and Lori A., wife of Ty Bergsman, Shoemakersville; and two sons, Anthony J.H. Forlini, husband of Angela, Houston; and Joey P. Forlini, husband of Carol, Houston.

Other survivors include a brother, Arlin E. Haas Jr., husband of Mary, Centreville, Va.; and father-in-law, Warren G. Harding, Kenhorst.

There are also 17 grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Lamm & Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville. Burial will be in Sinking Spring Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
