Mary grew up in Berea, KY. She met her future husband on the steps of the Methodist Church she attended with her family. Her parents were W W Rominger, sometimes called Judge, and Inez Blackburn Rominger. She had many siblings, some of whom are buried in this Berea Cemetery as are her parents and a grandmother.
Mary taught school for many years at Tyner Junior High School out of Chattanooga, TN.
