OBITUARY
Martha Luisa Finley Adams, born at Blansett, Arkansas, on May 31, 1871, departed this life on November 9, 1949, at the age of 78 years, 6 months, and 22 days. At the age of 16 years, she was saved and baptized into The Missionary Baptist church, in August of 1887. There she led a devoted life and labored for many years. She was united in marriage to William Anthony Adams at the home of her mother, in Blansett, Arkansas, on December 24, 1888. Unto this union, five children were born. Two have preceded their mother in death. This leaves to mourn her passing: Henry T. Adams, of Tulsa, Hester H. Aynes and Daniel A. Adams, of the home address, one brother, James W. Finley, of Wister, Oklahoma, ten grand-children of which nine are living, nine great-grand- children of which all are living, her husband, and a host of friends and relatives.

Adams Services Will Be Today
Services for Mrs. Martha L. Adams, 79, Jones will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Jones Baptist church with burial in IOOF cemetery at Jones. Mrs. Adams, who came to Jones in 1937 from Scott county, Ark., died Wednesday morning at her home. She was a member of the First Baptist church at Jones. Survivors include her husband, William A.; two sons, Henry, Tulsa, and Daniel, Jones, and a daughter, Mrs. Hester Aynes, Jones.
