RICE is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gloria Jean of Waldorf, MD; sister, Violet Hampton, of Florida; daughter, Sharon and husband, Jay Brosius of Frederick, MD; son, Stephen Harry and wife, Luci Rice of Waldorf,, MD; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. A military honors funeral will be held at Cheltenham Veteran's Cemetery in Clinton, MD.
