Lucy Edrington Manning, daughter of Nathaniel William Manning and Martha "Patsy" Price Craighill was born 6 Jun 1853 at Buena Vista near Charles Town in Jefferson County, West Virginia, where she lived throughout the Civil War. She married Arthur Holmes Berry in 1874 in Charles Town. They had two daughters, Catherine Rose Berry and Patsy Manning Berry. The family resided in Winchester, apparently until Arthur's death in 1915, after which she resided with her daughter, Patsy Reinhart. Lucy died in 1933 and is buried with her husband in Zion Episcopal Churchyard, Charles Town.
