Elsie Madeline Workman Casto, 74, of Rustburg passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Kenna Ernest Casto for 37 years. They were married in September 17, 1955.
Elsie was born in Swandale, WV, Jul 5, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Alton and Runa Mae Workman.
She is survived by her children, Connie Casto Burnette and her husband, Steve; Tresa Casto Case and her husband, Jeff; and David Wayne Casto and his wife, Kristan. Her grandchildren Billie Jo Johnson, Lacie Page, Erin Mills, Kaitlyn and Kendra Casto; her great-grandchildren, Chloe and Emma Johnson. Her sister Lucille Rose, Jean Key, Virginia Maddox, and Judy Dunn and a host of nieces and nephews
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, March 23, 3009, in Cumbie Memorial Cemetery, Rustburg, with the Rev. Walter Smith officiating.
The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of the Hills, Lynchburg, VA.
