Funeral services were held for Karl (Charles) Ferdinand Wiese at the Nazarene church Sunday afternoon with the Rev. L. R. Sturtevant officiating. Interment was in the Ritzville cemetery.
Karl Ferdinand Wiese was born March 4, 1885 in Berlin, Wisconsin and died at his home in Ritzville, Friday. Sept 16, at the age of 53. He was united in marriage to Clara Edwald On Oct. 17, 1909 and moved to Ritzville in 1927. He had been engaged as a county blademan up to the time of his illness.
He is survived by his widow and eight children; Fred of Sprague; Mrs. Allen Stookey of Seattle, Mrs. Roy Schafer of Ritzville; Mrs. William Pegg of Sunnyside; Lucille, Betty, Alaine and Gerald at home; one brother, A. F. Wiese of Marengo; to sisters; Mrs. George Harrison of Spokane and Mrs. Lymann Clary of Cocolalla, Idaho.
