She was the daughter of William Robinson, Jr who was a merchant in Colonial Philadelphia with his father, William Robinson. He owned a brigand called "The Hannah" that was captured by French pirates in 1799. He died when Hannah was 12-13 years old.

His spouse was Sarah Rice, who is mentioned in the obituary of his son, George W. Robinson, b. 21 Aug 1792 in Philadelphia and died 25 Oct 1867 in Lysander, Onondaga, NY. Sarah's second husband was the Rev John Davenport.

Her son William Robinson Baker, was the first mayor of Houston, Tx.

Married Asa Baker in Lysander, Onondage, NY in 1819 and lived there till after his death in 1851.
