June Dolph took over the ownership of the South Grove farm which had been owned by his father and grandfather. He owned the farm for the rest of his lifetime.

After completing his education at South Grove and Western Norman College, he entered the Automobile business and became a dealer for the Cartercar, one of the early-day automobiles.

He and his wife attended the Strahan United Methodist Church where his sister, Mrs. Helen Dolph Summers directed the choir and started the first orchestra.
