Madeline H. Leifer, age 95, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, July 9, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, 1997, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Keith Haag will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Madeline was born June 8, 1902, at Glidden, Wis., daughter of the late William and Agatha Jansen Kuhlman. She married Leland L. Leifer on July 5, 1930, in Sheboygan, Wis. Mr. Leifer preceded her in death on June 1, 1985. She was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one brother, Douglas (Katie) Kuhlman, Oregon; four grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ann) Leifer, Manitowoc, Randall (Teresa) Leifer, Reedsville, Pamela Leifer, Schofield, Karen (Dean) Drossart, Green Bay; 11 great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Leifer, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Lee Leifer; one brother and one sister.
Friends may call at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
