Mrs. Carden Dies At Home In Lake City
Mrs. Ida Foust Carden, 84, wife, of William Carden, died Wednesday afternoon at her home at Grace Ave. in Lake City. She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at her church with the Rev. W.H. Beets and the Rev. George Delozier officiating.Burial will be in Foust Cemetery.She leaves, beside her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Bessie McCoy, Mrs. Barbara Carroll, Mrs. Roxie Presley and Mrs. Melda Sharp all of Lake City, Mrs. Beulah Young of Detroit and Mrs. Ruby Reed of Clinton Rt.2, two sons, Zelma and Conley Carden both of Lake City, 50 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, sisters, Mrs. Dora Hickey of Sevierville and Mrs. Carrie Viles of South Carolina, three brothers, Clay Foust of Lake City and Ed and Delous Foust both of Lake City Rt. 1. The family will receive friends Thursday (tonight) at Martin Funeral Home in Lake City.
