Mrs. Sarah Kincheloe Saltzman 87, a life-long Posey County resident of pioneer stock, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Ackerman 1031 West Third Street, where she had resided for the last nine years.

The respected aged Posey County woman was the widow of William Henry Saltzman. She was the head of five generations and is survived by 92 direct lineal descendants.

The body is at Weisinger Funeral Home and will remain there through the funeral services set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Weisinger Chapel. The officiating minister will be Rev. Paul Turner, pastor of Church of God Mission, of which the deceased was a member. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in West Lynn Township.

Friends may call at Weisinger Chapel after 7 o'clock this evening.

Mrs. Saltzman had been seriously ill for the last two months.

The parents of the deceased were Elias Kincheloe and Elizabeth Williams Kincheloe, representatives of early Posey County families. Mrs. Saltzman was born near New Harmony.

Surviving are five sons, Horace, Tulare, Calif; Jesse, Evansville; Vogel, R.R. 3, Mt. Vernon; Harold, Santa Fe Springs, Calif; and Eldon, Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Mrs. Ackerman, Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Oscar Strean, Winthrop Harbor, Ill; and Mrs. Jack Hancock, R.R. 5 Mt. Vernon; 40 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Jesse Kincheloe, R.R. 1, New Harmony, and a sister, Mrs. Esther Hayes, R.R. 1, New Harmony.
