Fred Henry Muhle
Fred Henry Muhle, 76, of Abilene died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, at his home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 N. 2nd, with the Rev. George Bryan officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Rochester Cemetery.
Mr. Muhle was born in Rochester and moved from Haskell to Abilene in 1952. He was a service station attendant for Atchison Gulf for 30 years. He was an Army Medical Corps veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2012. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans and of the Baptist church. He married Joyce Woods in 1961 in Haskell.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; two daughters, Patricia Carter of Roanoke and Linda Robbins of Abilene; one brother, Joe Willard Muhle of Abilene; two sisters, Bernice Willingham of Abilene and Janie Jones of Hamlin; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.
