Second child, first daughter of Ira C. Sheline and Anna Dell (Snyder) Sheline. The Hill family grew by one member when they adopted Bonnie Karen in 1952.
Eva was a cosmetologist/hair dresser by profession.
The family has a story that the Sheline sisters, when teenagers, never liked their given first name, so they all but one "adopted" their middle name as their first name and lised their first name as their middle name. And it "stuck" for all of their lives.
