Joshua Simpson, 61, of Springdale died Tuesday at Springdale Memorial Hospital. He was born October 25, 1914, in Cave Springs, where he lived most his life before he retired in 1961. He then moved to Springdale in 1968.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Louise Threet Simpson of the home; three daughters; Mrs Dorris Murphy of Fayetteville, Mrs Martha Disney of Farmington and Mrs Janice Baker of Rogers; four sons; Marion Simpson of Rogers, Jerry Simpson of Springdale, Jimmy and Gale Simpson of the home.; three brothers, Fred Simpson of Bentonville, Garlen Simpson of Lowell; Lester Simpson of Cave Springs; a sister Pearl Wooldridge of Bentonville and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Burns Funeral Home Chapel of Bentonville with the Rev. Bryan Disney officiating. Burial will be in the Hart Cemetery.
