Mr. Box was an active member of the Montgomery Masonic Lodge for the past 40 years, and a deacon of the Hargis Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. T. W. Box; three daughters, Mrs. J. E. Durham of Tioga, Mrs. Iley Taylor of Winnfield, Route 4, Mrs. Elmo Smith of Verda; two sons, Roy Box of Montgomery and C. M. Box of Shreveport; one brother, W. H. Box of Delhi; one sister, Mrs. W. T. Durham of Ball, La.
Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Roy O'Connor, with Southern Funeral Home in charge of burial.
