Cooper Review- December 31, 1987-Orbrey "Dad" Moore of Klondike passed away Saturday evening, Dec. 19 in Garland. Funeral services were held at 2:30PM Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the Delta Funeral Home Chapel. Keith Robinson and Ken Franks of Garland officiated, with internment at the New Klondike Cemetery. Mr. Moore was born Feb. 2, 1903 in Klondike. He was the son of Perry H. and Burton (McCaleb) Moore. He was a longtime grocer in Klondike and had been a lifelong resident of Klondike. He was a member of the Klondike Church of Christ. Survivors include two sisters, Chloe Roland and LaVerne McNeal of Garland; two nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Cly Moore, Loren Moore, Ross Moore and a sister, Eula Gene Moore.
