Wardell A. Alexander, 63, passed away Saturday, June 25, 1977 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born Sept. 22, 1913 at St. Charles, South Dakota. He ranched at Naper, Nebraska for several years before moving to Valentine, Nebraska and there he was employed at Vanneman's Ford. In 1967 he moved to Douglas, Wyoming and was employed at Roger's Ford until his illness caused him to retire. He married Alice Allshouse October 21, 1936 at Butte, Nebraska. Survivors include his wife, Alice of Douglas; his four daughters, Mrs. Joe (Inez) Schrader of Glassglow, Montana; Mrs. Laverne (Myrna) Schrader of Gregory, South Dakota; Mrs. Bernard (Mardell) Fay of Valentine, Nebraska; Mrs. Richard (Linda) Valdez of Douglas, Wyoming; one son, Wardell (Bud) Alexander, Jr. of Douglas, Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs. Jerry (Anita) Brookman of Buena Park, California; Mrs. George (Amber) Doyle of Newport, Nebraska; Mrs. Donald (Lois Libolt of Casper, Wyoming and 14 grandchildren.
