Donna Barrera passed away early Sunday morning while surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Napa, Ca.
She lived in San Francisco and married Joseph Barrera on August 5, 1967.
A radiant woman with a keen mind and a pure heart, whose passions included family, friends, people and life, will be deeply missed. Donna had a miraculous ability to warm the hearts of people and make everything around her more exciting and beautiful. She touched and improved lives of people with her extraordinary kindness and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Aroda Bramblett.
Donna is survived by her son, Eric Barrera; daughter, Kristen Gourley; and her loving husband, Joseph Barrera, of 42 years.
She was a proud and devoted grandmother and is also survived by two beautiful grandchildren, Jolee Barrera and Silas Gourley. She also leaves a brother, Stanley Bramblett; sisters, Kay Seidenberg and Cathy Gorzock; nummerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held for Donna at G.L. Johnson Chapel at People's Church, on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
