Mrs. E. A. Johnston, for 27 years a resident of San Antonio, died at 6 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Minnie L. Johnston, 1524 Buena Vista street, after an illness extending over six months.
Mrs. Johnston was 69 years old, a native of St. Charles, Mo., and was widely known in this city. She is survived by her husband, George B. Johnston, a son, Sam Johnston and two daughters, Mrs. R. C. Elliott of Guadalajara, Mex., and Miss Minnie L. Johnston, principal of the Crockett school of this city. Several grandchildren also survive her.
The funeral will take place at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the house. Interment will be had in the Anchor Masonic cemetery.
