Jim Fox was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, on Aug. 11, 1913, to Milton and Lottie Fox. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Grave Fox, and a daughter, Helen Woodruff. He grew up in Nebraska and moved to the Bay Area in 1936. He had lived in Fairfield since 1969. James was a retired carpenter and member of the union for 57 years. He was involved in the development of the senior center and a member of Nighthawks. He is survived by two children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was a very loving and generous man, and he will be dearly missed by all.
