Frank L. Westbrook, 71, retired decorator, resident of 220 Lawrence Street, died at 4:20 p.m. Friday in Newark Hospital. He had been in declining health three years, the result of a heart condition, and was admitted to the hospital April 21.
Mr. Westbrook, who engaged in business for many years as a paper hanger and painter, was born July 26, 1879 in Mary Ann Township. He was the son of Lemuel and Eliza (Oatman) Westbrook, and one of a family of eight children.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Roxanna Westbrook, he leaves one sister, Mrs. Theodore Klecker and one brother, Emmett Westbrook, both of Newark.
Mr. Westbrook was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Church.
The body is at the Gutliph & Henderson Funeral Home where the Rev. Rex Smith will conduct services at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be made in Barnes Cemetery.
