James O. "Jim" Vrana, 53, an independent property manager, died September 3, 2009. He was born November 27, 1955, the son of Othal Dean and Betty Jean Dutton Vrana. He married Cynthia Marie Lien on August 6, 1977 in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 1996. He was a member of Andover Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: son, James O. "Joey" Vrana II and companion Devin Mobley and her son, Roman of Mission, Kansas; daughter, Amanda M. Doucet and husband Kevin and daughters, Allyson M. and Jillian E. Doucet of Enid, Okalahoma; brothers, Thomas and Susan Vrana of Overland Park,Kansas John and Linda Vrana of Wichita, Kansas and Chuck Vrana and Rose Poteete of Wichita, Kansas. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m.-9 p.m.Tuesday with family receiving friends 6-8 p.m Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, Kansas. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Andover Lutheran Church, 115 Dakota Rd., Windom, Kansas. Cremation will follow. The family requests attendees to wear casual attire, preferably anything Harley Davidson and jeans. Memorials are to Hospice and Home Care of Reno County McPherson area.
