Obituary from New Milford Times dated Nov. 21, 1968:

"Mrs. Alice Stebbins,71,wife of Fred L. Stebbins, Aspetuck Road, New Milford, died at Milford Heights, Milford, CT after a long illness.
Mrs. Stebbins was born in Patterson, NY, on Aug. 7, 1897, a daughter of the late George W. and Inura Clemens Ett. She had spent most of her life in New Milford where she was a member of the First Congregational Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons; Kenneth of Danbury, Harry, Richard and Robert of New Milford; one brother, George Ett of Nyack, NY; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Benson of New Milford and Mrs. Alex Bingham of Paterson, NY. and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Lillis Funeral Home Saturday with the Rev. A. Russell Ayre, minister of the First Congregational Church officiating. Burial was in Center Cemetery."
