The funeral of Peter Alix, a well known Lathrop farmer, who passed away Tuesday, was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the church at Lathrop. The deceased was well known throughout San Joaquin county and was among the old residents of San Joaquin, being aged sixty-three years.
The services at the grave this afternoon were under the auspices of the Morning Star lodge of Masons. The deceased is survived by a wife, Alice Alix, a daughter, Mrs. A. Podva of Lathrop, and two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Wells and Mrs. Thomas Holmes of Boston. He was a native of New York.
