Willie was the wife of William Oscar Wallace.

She was the mother of Alma, Lucy, William, James, Cynthia, Mildred, Frances, Ruth, and Martha Wallace.

Mrs. Maude Reeder Wallace, age 72, passed away Wednesday at the Northeast
Mississippi Hospital, at Booneville, where she had been a patient several
weeks. Mrs. Wallace was the daughter of the late Henry and (Frankie) Williams
Reeder. She was married to W. O. Wallace, who survives, 53 years ago, and
they spent their lives in the neighborhood of Ramer. She was the mother of
two sons and seven daughters, all of whom survive. They are, Jim Wallace and
Henry Wallace, Ramer; Mrs. Bryan Jones, Selmer; Mrs. Roy Branstetter, Memphis;
Mrs. Carl Patrick, Marked Tree, Ark.; Mrs Mildred Selle, Mrs Hugh Hamilton,
Mrs. Walter Ayers and Miss Lucy Mae Wallace, Ramer. She is also survived by
several half-sisters and brothers residing in Texas, sixteen grandchildren and
seven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wallace united with the Methodist Church when a child. She was a
devoted wife and mother, and will be missed in the community where she lived
and was a good neighbor for so many years. Although she suffered a long and
painful illness, she bore her suffering with patience and fortitude.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon in the Ramer School auditorium.
